American Marketing Association

Google

If you are starting a marketing business focused on small businesses or non-profits you probably will be looking for resources to help you stay current with marketing trends and get inspiration from others. As a new business money is tight so you can't afford to spend the $220 necessary to join an organization like  AMA unless it offers real value. To choose the appropriate association for your business go to an association meeting as a guest and decide for yourself. Which
chapter you are a member of could make a big difference. Some are great and some aren't.  Another thing to watch for is that some or all chapters of associations you are considering charge for the meetings and other sessions so it would be more money spent on top of the annual fees.
